Terms and Conditions

Gurdwara Web is a website design and care service provided by Spire Trade Advisors Ltd. These terms explain our website service, payment and domain arrangements. Last updated: 7 November 2026.
Service and agreed scope
We build websites for Gurdwaras. We confirm the pages, selected community tools, content requirements, maintenance allowance and any extra work in writing. Anything outside the agreed scope requires your agreement before an additional charge. Please contact hello@gurdwaraweb.com to confirm suitability or ask questions before paying.
Prices and Stripe payments
The UK price is £499 setup plus a required £100 per month. The US price is $649 setup plus a required $129 per month. Spire Trade Advisors Ltd is not VAT registered and does not charge VAT.
Payments are taken through Stripe’s secure hosted checkout. Setup plus the first month are paid at checkout: £599 for the UK or $778 for the US. The monthly fee then recurs each month until cancelled. Your Stripe checkout and receipt show the currency, amount and renewal details. Optional add-ons are separate one-off payments, not subscriptions, and do not replace the required monthly fee. We do not receive your full card number.
These are commercial service fees, not charitable donations. We do not claim that they are tax-deductible. Your Gurdwara’s donations are separate and must use its own approved donation provider.
Hosting is required and included
Hosting is required for this service and is included in the monthly fee, along with software upkeep and routine maintenance within the agreed scope. The monthly fee is not optional. Payment-provider transaction fees, premium domains, bespoke integrations and work outside the agreed scope are not included unless agreed in writing.
Your Gurdwara’s domain
Your domain remains yours, held in the Gurdwara’s name. If you do not have a domain, we register a standard domain in your Gurdwara’s name. Standard registration and renewal are included in the monthly fee while the service is active. Premium domains require separate agreement.
If you leave, we hand over your site files and transfer the domain to you or your nominated provider free of handover or transfer charges from us, subject to registrar security checks and registry transfer restrictions. Domain ownership is not conditional on staying. Once the service ends, replacement hosting, domain renewal and any third-party licences or accounts become your responsibility.
Timings, content and approval
Get 3–4 different homepage designs within 24 hours of receiving your brief, free and before any payment. No commitment, no card needed. The offer covers 3–4 unique homepage concepts, not finished websites. We never reuse another Gurdwara’s design.
Each is built around making giving simple. Choose your favourite and request changes; we refine it to the final design for free. If you choose to proceed, we agree the paid scope in writing.
Your site can be live within 7 days of your paid booking, with usable content, access and timely approvals ready. We only publish your website with committee approval.
Cancellation, renewals and refunds
There is no minimum monthly term. You can cancel anytime: email hello@gurdwaraweb.com before your next renewal and identify your Gurdwara and order. This is the notice period; no separate 30-day notice is required.
We will confirm cancellation and the end date in writing. Monthly billing stops for subsequent renewals and service continues to the end of the paid period, unless we agree another transition date. Contact us promptly if you have not received confirmation.
Cancellation does not undo work already performed. If you request a refund or cancel before setup or an add-on is completed, contact us so we can assess the payment and work delivered and confirm any refund due. Nothing in these terms removes statutory rights or remedies. We will agree any handover requirements with you; the domain transfer itself is free.
Online giving and community tools
Giving support is design and best-practice guidance, not a guarantee of increased donations. Recurring giving depends on your chosen provider. Gift Aid only applies to an eligible Gurdwara scheme and eligible donors.
Donation-provider integrations must be separately scoped. Included community tools carry no separate tool licence fee within the paid service. Some use external data or local browser storage, so availability, content review and ongoing scope must be agreed.

Your invoice and ways to pay
Invoices are issued in your Gurdwara’s name. The setup fee can be paid by card through Stripe, or by bank transfer on invoice on request. Email hello@gurdwaraweb.com to arrange the invoice and monthly billing before paying. Bank details are supplied privately on the invoice, never printed on this website. Do not pay the setup fee twice: the standard Stripe core checkout already includes setup and your first month.
Data care and safeguarding
We collect only the information needed for enquiries, orders and agreed service delivery, and do not add tracking cookies. Children’s personal details or photos must not be published on class or event pages unless your committee confirms it has appropriate consent. Your committee is responsible for approving supplied content and permissions. We can omit or remove identifying material while consent is unclear.
Language, access and ongoing contact
We can provide Gurmukhi and English side-by-side layouts using text your Gurdwara supplies or approves; we do not claim to provide translation.
Large-text and accessibility options for elderly sangat are agreed as part of your site scope, not a claim of independently certified accessibility. Sevadars can email simple update requests within the agreed maintenance allowance.
One named point of contact will be assigned to your project and replies within one working day through hello@gurdwaraweb.com. No individual’s name is represented as assigned before that happens.
Design ownership and permission to use
All designs, drafts and previews remain the property of Spire Trade Advisors Ltd until the setup fee is paid in full. Unpaid designs may not be used, copied or adapted. On full payment, your Gurdwara receives the right to use its chosen design for its site. Your Gurdwara’s own content, name, logo and photos always remain yours. We never reuse another Gurdwara’s design for your project.
